About Us
We know from experience that laundry isn’t exactly an exciting activity, nor is going to the laundromat. From the cracks in the ceiling to the puddles on the floor and all the out-of-service machines in between, public laundry can seem more like a punishment than a community service. This was our personal experience in numerous laundromats.
When we acquired our laundromat, we gave it the love and lift it needed to elevate the laundromat experience. The floors are new, the walls are freshly painted, and the ceiling was upgraded. Laundromats shouldn’t feel like a strange liminal space or smell like a basement. They should feel a little bit like home so one can comfortably and peacefully do laundry in an otherwise public area.
But that wasn’t enough. Even a nice, beautiful laundromat means nothing without customer service. Once upon a time in a not-too-distant city, in a time not too long ago we discovered a little mom-and-pop operation that offered wash and fold. We decided to give this a try since we were two busy people working demanding jobs. To our surprise, not only was our laundry clean and very neatly packed when we picked it up, the level of genuine service from this couple was the upper echelon of what one can get at a laundromat. They set the bar pretty high and that’s where we’re keeping it for our own washateria in Woodland, CA.
To put it simply, we want you to experience the ultra-positive service we discovered could and can exist in laundry.
